David’s extensive background, spanning retail & wholesale focuses on sales, merchandising, brand building and developing long term growth strategies.  He has held senior positions at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, Li & Fung, Tracy Reese and Alex Apparel Group before joining KBL Group.  With a wide breadth of leadership experience, David sees the bigger picture for our clients.

Tess Giberson - Creative Director, New York

Tess started her career at Calvin Klein, where she developed a strong designer sensibility early on. After honing her craft in sweaters at TSE Cashmere, she launched her own label until joining Lane Bryant full-time in 2016. As their VP of Emerging Brands and Designer Collaborations, Tess developed a passion for size inclusivity, a core value she continues to champion at KBL Group.

Margie Maldonado - VP of Operations, New York

Margie spent the first 26 years of her career at Ralph Lauren, starting in QA and ultimately working her way up to Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Sourcing. Today, Margie leads our supply chain and sourcing.

Johanna Castro - VP of Global Network Sales and Merchandising, New York

Johanna’s a Global sales and merchandising professional with over 20 years of experience. She has a successful track record in building and overseeing the development of brands, having launched brands in both domestic & international markets. Johanna is recognized as a dynamic leader who has passion for people, customers, brand and product.

Lisa Paulino- Head of Private Label Sales and Business Development, New York

Lisa is an accomplished sales leader in the fashion industry whose career spans over 30+ years in merchandising and sales for leading companies such as Anne Klein, Joan Vass and Cosabella. She skillfully optimizes her clients sales utilizing her broad background in apparel, home and accessories.

Victor Chu - Group Chairman

50+ years in the apparel industry. Victor has successfully started and owned an extensive network of companies and factories in China and overseas, with a collective turnover of a few hundred million dollars annually.

Fanny Lui - Consultant to Group Chairman, Hong Kong

Fanny is a senior-level executive, specializing in multinational and Hong Kong-listed corporations in banking and manufacturing. Her vast management experience in multiple roles makes her perfectly suited for advising KBL Group on key strategic initiatives.

Carina Chu - General Manager, Hong Kong

Carina graduated from Penn State with an engineering degree, and was trained in Germany on computer knit machinery. Along the way, she worked for two Fortune 500 retailers and managed factory operations. Carina developed a strong technical background, and oversees KBL’s Far East Operations.

Joanne Ng - Merchandise Manager, Hong Kong

Joanne brings 24 years of experience at Li & Fung to the KBL team. She specializes in global sourcing, product development, and vendor management across a vast array of categories including sweaters, knits, woven, home, loungewear and more.
